Action tracker
Turn gaps and findings into owned actions. Keep progress separate from recorded verification.
How to track GRC findings and remediation
The action tracker records what needs to change, why it matters, who owns the work and when it should be reviewed. Keep evidence of completion separate from an assertion that a task is finished. The tool can organise follow-up, but it does not send reminders, inspect files or independently verify remediation.
Use the tool in three steps
- Describe a specific finding and the outcome needed to address it.
- Assign an owner, planning date and status. Assess any statutory or incident deadline separately.
- Record completion evidence and review notes before closing the item. Export the working record for follow-up.
Does a closed action mean the issue is resolved?
It records your declared outcome and supporting notes. Check that the change operates and addresses the original finding; a progress label is not independent assurance.
Guidance and working records
- Use the assurance finding template
- Follow the control review playbook
- Connect findings to governance decisions
The tool sends no entered records to the publisher. Use Save on this device only on an appropriate device; export a working copy for continuity. Privacy and storage details.
